Truex On Dover Cup Pole
Martin Truex Jr. captured his first pole of the season Friday when he turned the fastest lap in qualifying for Sunday’s Autism Speaks 400 at Dover International Speedway.
Truex, driving for Michael Waltrip Racing, turned a lap at 157.315 mph.
The pole was the fifth of Truex’s career. He will enter Sunday’s race ranked 13th in points.
