Schumacher Ends His Skid In NHRA Top Fuel

Dale Earnhardt Jr. was not the only driver to end a long winless streak Sunday as NHRA driver Tony Schumacher did the same.
Schumacher, winless since 2010, won the Top Fuel portion of the ThunderValley Nationals. The victory ended the longest winless streak of the seven-time champion’s career at 32 races.

Steve Torrence’s incredible season continued Sunday when he won the Top Fuel portion of the NHRA Toyota Supernationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J.

Dave Grubnic broke a long winless streak Sunday when he won the Top Fuel competition at the Dollar General NHRA Summer Nationals at Heartland Park Topeka.
