NASCAR Issues JGR Penalties

NASCAR issued penalties to Joe Gibbs Racing on Tuesday for use of unapproved parts at Michigan International Speedway last weekend.
The penalties included fines and probation to crew chiefs and car chiefs for all three JGR teams, but no reductions of owner or driver points.
A statement issued by NASCAR read:
