Marcos Ambrose on Friday won the pole for Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series race at the Sonoma, Calif. road course.
The Richard Petty Motorsports driver earned the pole with a lap at 95.262 mph.
The pole for Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 was Ambrose second of the season.

Marcos Ambrose of Richard Petty Motorsports won the pole on Saturday for Sunday’s Sprint Cup race at Michigan International Speedway.
