A couple years ago, officials at Kansas Speedway requested that the date for the IndyCar Series/Camping World Truck Series weekend be shifted off of the Fourth of July Weekend. Too hot.

Kansas Speedway’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 has been suspended due to rain until Monday, April 27.
The rain, accompanied by lightening and reports of a tornado moving toward the speedway and located just five miles away, struck 52 laps into the race.
