Defending Camping World Truck Series champion Johnny Benson was seriously injured in a wreck during a Supermodified race in Michigan Saturday night.
Benson wrecked in the first lap and his car caught fire during the race at Berlin Raceway in Marne.
He was transported a hospital where he was reported to be in serious but stable condition.
