Carl Edwards was fastest in the first Sprint Cup Series practice session of the weekend as he turned a lap aqt 175.838 mph.

Clint Bowyer won the Lucas Oil 150 Camping World Truck Series race at Phoenix International Raceway Friday night but Todd Bodine won the championship.

The victory  was Busch’s seventh of the season in the series in just 14 starts.
