Kurt Busch, substituting for Penske Racing teammate Brad Keselowski, won the pole on Saturday morning for Saturday afternoon’s Nationwide Series race at the Watkins Glen International road course.
Busch’s lap at 123.241 mph was a new track record.

Brad Keselowski, whose weekend was put in doubt when he severely injured his ankle during a test session early in the week, held off Kyle Busch to win the Good Sam RV Insurance 500 at Pocono Raceway on Sunday afternoon.
