Let’s see if I’ve got this straight:
If Kasey Kahne has to choose between driving for Richard Petty Motorsports or nobody next season, he’ll choose nobody?
That’s what Kasey said when he announced plans to leave RPM at the end of this season: he doesn’t know where he’ll be next season.
Of course [...]

If there really are some ill feeling festering between teammates Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson, all I can say is:
‘Bout time.
I think the buddy-buddy nonsense among teammates has gone far enough. If fact, it went way too far last season when Mark Martin and Jimmie Johnson swapped charity points in a [...]

There’s something odd about this week’s announcement that Kasey Kahne is leaving Richard Petty Motorsports to drive for Hendrick Motorsports.

Brian Rose is back in racing after being suspended from NASCAR seven years ago for substance abuse.
More importantly than regaining his racing career, the young Bowling Green, Ky., driver has his life back.
Rose was scheduled to make his racing return last Friday at Nashville Superspeedway but failed to make the [...]
Back in the days when NASCAR ran two Grand National (now Sprint Cup) races in Nashville, Ralph Emery’s Great Outhouse Race was a fixture.
Emery was host of a popular country music TV show and a huge racing fan. He began holding his annual Outhouse Race as a fun event in connection with the big summer [...]

Gladeville, Tenn. – It had been four years since Kevin Harvick’s last visit to Nashville Superspeedway, and he said he had a little trouble finding his way through the garage area.
But Harvick remembered the way to Victory Circle – last visited by him here in 2006 – after sailing to a [...]

Gladeville, Tenn. – Kyle Busch climbed from his truck, grabbed the trademark trophy Gipson guitar, and held it aloft.
The crowd held its breath.
And nothing happened.
After a Nationwide Series victory at Nashville Superspeedway last year Busch smashed the guitar to bits in a “rock-star-style” celebration that caused a ruckus and riled NASCAR [...]
