Austin Dillon won Friday night’s Feed the Children 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway. The bad news was that after the race, Dillon’s Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet failed inspection.

Jimmie Johnson on Friday won the pole for this weekend’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Kentucky Speedway.
Johnson lapped the 1.5-mile speedway in 29.700 seconds (181.818 mph).
