Sauter Sweeps; Dillon Trims Points Lead at Texas

Johnny Sauter passed Parker Kligerman with 10 laps left and went on to win Friday night’s Winstar World Casino 350 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
Sauter, both of whose 2012 victories have come at TMS,  finished 2.199 seconds ahead of second-place Kligerman.

Sprint Cup points leader Jimmie Johnson won the pole for Sunday’s AAA Texas 500 with a lap around Texas Motor Speedway in 28.261 seconds.

Bernard Steps Down As CEO Of INDYCAR

Randy Bernard is out as CEO of the INDYCAR Series.
The board of directors of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation convened a special meeting Sunday and afterward announced that Bernard will relinquish his position effective immediately.
