Menard and Cook Fast At Texas

Fort Worth, Texas – Terry Cook and Paul Menard paced the opening two practices Friday for the O’Reilly 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

Cook, driver of the No. 91 MSRP Motorsports Chevrolet, led the opening session at 185.995 mph. He was followed by David Ragan (184.426 mph) and Tony Stewart (183.492 mph). Menard paced the second session at 184.143 mph in the No. 98 Richmond/Menards Ford.

David Reutimann  (184.137 mph) was second-fast , followed by Matt Kenseth (183.949 mph). – John Strubin
