Pocono Raceway Unveils ’The Village at Pocono’

Long Pond, Pa.  – Pocono Raceway, one of NASCAR’s premier motorsports facilities, is proud to unveil its newest venture: The Village at Pocono, an all season vacation destination.

The Village at Pocono, the newest resort in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, is located in Long Pond, Pa. The Village, owned and operated by Pocono Raceway, is located directly across from the track. The Village is equipped to accommodate the needs of its visitors, with flexible rental options of the Studio, one- and two-bedroom villas.  The Village at Pocono team will strive to provide the best service and luxurious accommodations at a reasonable cost in one of the most beautiful vacation destinations Pennsylvania has to offer: the Pocono Mountains.

The Village at Pocono will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, July 30 and will remain open to vacationers throughout the year. Opening July 30 are seven houses consisting of 56 units available for daily, weekly or seasonal rental. Each house offers four two-bedroom villas which feature two comfortable queen-sized beds with two full baths, a full kitchen, a living room with queen sleeper sofa, and three flat screen televisions. Each villa is available in three unique configurations to accommodate specific needs.

The 6,000–square-foot clubhouse features many amenities including a fireside lounge offering free Wi-Fi; theater room; game room; full exercise room; his and hers locker rooms with saunas; and an indoor aquatic center with spa and heated pool. Outside the clubhouse is a basketball court, bocce and tennis courts, as well as a playground.

The 56 completed units are the first phase of building plans for The Village at Pocono. A $50 million project, the Village plans to build a total of 250 houses consisting of over 1,000 rooms. Daily, weekly and seasonal rental options are available. Studio rates start at only $100 per night.
