Martin Takes Pole At Brickyard

all state 400 logoMark Martin will start from the pole for Sunday’s All State 400 at the Brickyard. At 50 years, 197 days old, Martin became the oldest pole winner of a major event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and he was the only driver to top 182 mph during the rain-delayed qualifying.

Juan Pablo Montoya, who won the 2000 Indianapolis 500, will start second.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., Bill Elliot and David Reutimann  round out the top 5.
