Edwards On Nationwide Pole

Joliet, Ill. – Carl Edwards will kick up his quest to deprive Kyle Busch of the 2009 Nationwide Series championship with a pole-position start in Friday night’s race at Chicagoland Speedway.
Edwards won the pole by posting a lap at 176.956 mph in the rain-delayed Friday afternoon qualifying session.
It was the fifth Nationwide pole of the season for Edwards.
Busch, who will start the race 172 points ahead of Edwards in the standings, qualified sixth fastest.
Starting next to Edwards on the front row will be Brian Vickers. Joey Logano qualified third fastest.
The race is scheduled to start 8 p.m. EDT.No Comment
