Rain has forced cancelation of Friday’s qualifying session for Sunday’s Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Hence the field for the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 will be set by car-owner points.

That will put Tony Stewart on the pole. Next to Stewart in the front row will be Jeff Gordon.

Jimmie Johnson and Kurt Busch will be in the second row when the race starts on Sunday.

The teams and drivers were able to get in a practice on Friday. Busch was fastest in that session while David Reutimann was second and Juan Pablo Montoya was third.
