Dario Franchitti became a two-time winner at Iowa Speedway Sunday when he won the Iowa Corn Indy 250.
The victory moved the Target Chip Ganassi Racing driver to second place in the IndyCar Series standings and to within three points of leader Ryan Briscoe.
Briscoe, of Team Penske, finished second, over 5 seconds behind.
Hideki Mutoh of Andretti Green Racing was third and Dan Wheldon of Panther Racing was forth.
Scott Dixon was fifth and slipped from second to third in points.
The victory was the second of the season for Franchitti, who also won the Long Beach Grand Prix street race.
Helio Castroneves was involved in an early accident in which the front wing of his car was ripped off. But this year’s Indianapolis 500 winner came back to finish seventh.
Danica Patrick finished ninth.
Franchitti won the debut race at Iowa back in 2007. Wheldon won at the .875-mile track last year.
