And green flag stops have begun again.
I would have definitely thought that Truex wouldn’t have struggled as much as he has.
And Ryan Newman is about to get lapped again. That’s another person who I thought would have done really well.
I would venture to say that the lower sections of the stands at Michigan are less than 1/3 full.
We’re officially halfway. This race is FLYING. (and that’s not necessarily a bad thing)
Johnson still whupping the field as we get within three laps of halfway
I like Michigan races. Even though they get strung out there’s still some good racing and they’re relaxing like Pocono is (without the snooze-inducement)
Stewart back up to fifth after the pit miscue dropped him to 10th
Consider this your “OMG! JUNIOR IS IN THE TOP 10!” post
Johnson outraces Biffle out of turn 4 and regains the lead
Well, we got one on lap 72
CAUTION #!
Unshown debris
Still green…
How soon are we going to get a debris caution?
JJ still leads, Kahne 2nd then Biffle and the Buschs
Green flag stops cycling as Johnson still hasn’t pitted yet
The Buschs trade places as Stewart is in fourth
Johnson is spanking everyone, opening a 6.5 second lead on Shrub
Again, I state, Kyle Busch is the unluckiest driver in NASCAR.
(assuming something is wrong with the engine)
JJ to the lead on lap 9
Field strung out now as Busch still leads.
Green flag!
And we’re already three wide as Johnson goes for the lead, but Shrub says no way and takes it off the high side.
Maybe we’ll see speeding penalties like we saw last night? Think of the cluster**** that would be…
Welcome to Flag to Flag at Michigan. I assume the race will start in about 45 minutes.
TNT did a real nice job last week, but I could do without all the prerace. An hour is enough for me.
