Todd Bodine firmed up his reputation as the top trucker in Texas Friday night when he won the Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

The victory was Bodine’s fifth at TMS and his 10th on a 1.5-mile oval.

Finishing second, over a second behind, was Matt Crafton.

That finish pushed Crafton into the series points lead. Ron Hornaday Jr., who entered the race as leader, fell off the pace eight laps from the end and glided into the pits with oil-pressure problems.

Colin Braun finished third.

Defending series champion Johnny Benson finished fourth and Rick Crawford was fifth.

Johnny Sauter, who started the race from the pole, finished sixth. He led the first 42 laps, but on the first caution, he had problems in the pits and his crew sent him out in ninth place.
