Brian Scott held off Dennis Setzer over the final 10 laps of the Camping World Truck Series race at Dover on Saturday to get the first victory of his career in the series.
Scott took the lead when trucks in front of him pitted during a caution that came out with 15 laps to go.
Kyle Busch, who led most of the race and appeared headed to victory, was the driver who brought out that final caution. He blew a tire while leading and then went up into the outside wall.
Colin Braun was running second at the time but just after Busch’s tire blew, Braun blew a tire as well and he hit the wall.
That gave the lead to David Starr, who was running third when Busch and Braun crashed.
Starr, however, elected to pit during the caution to take right-side tires, and lost track position.
On fresh tirea, he was able to make back to third, but could get no closer to the lead.
Busch finished ninth. Earlier in the day, he was apparently heading for a Nationwide series victory at Dover but was punted from behind by his teammate, Joey Logano. Brad Keselowski passed both to get the victory.
Jason White finished fourth in the trucks race.
