Daytona Cup Race Postponed
Rain forced postponement of Saturday night’s Coke Zero 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway.
The race has been rescheduled to start Sunday at 11 a.m. ET.
NASCAR officials made the decision shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday.
When the race does begin, pole sitter David Gilliland in the Love’s Travel Stops Ford will share the front row with Reed Sorenson in the Golden Corral Chevrolet.
Daytona International Speedway rewarded the diehard fans who remained on-hand with a fireworks display at 9 p.m. Saturday night.
Tickets for Saturday’s race will be honored Sunday. Grandstand gates will open at 9 a.m. and parking lots will open at 7 a.m.No Comment
