Watching the Coca-Cola 600?
Nick Bromberg is doing the double – after the Indy 500, he’s live blogging the Charlotte action.
Caution #4 for……
Martin has a tire roll across pit lane during the sequence of pit stops. Hopefully this rain doesn’t last very long.
As I fall asleep at the keyboard, Johnson has faded back to eighth, as Kyle Busch leads.
Johnson took two tires, which is why he’s falling as quickly as he is.
Johnson still leads
pit stops on the competition caution; Stewart looks to be the big loser as he loses about 15 spots, Biffle gains 15 spots because he (I assume) got two tires after pitting on a previous caution and Jimmie gets the lead. That’s a surprise.
Newman back to fourth
Six laps til the competition caution.
Martin about to challenge Newman for second
(BTW, that was Caution #2)
Now he blasts the wall because he didn’t pit, and the right front is flat.
Should have pitted…
Harvick with a bent in fender; I have to imagine that he’ll be pitting shortly.
The two pit signs for Junior are just awesome
(Stewart pits in the pit immediately after Logano today. I wonder if/how often he’ll see the #20 sign and pull in there?)
And Kyle Busch to the front on lap 3
I love how they are so proud that no one is publicly saying they will start-and-park
Newman leads lap one after choosing the outside line
I guess I’ll stick with my stone cold lock of the week, and go with Tony Stewart for the race win.
And I’m back!
I hope that we don’t have to go to halfway, I really want to see all 600 miles. We’ll see…
Hang tight, we’ll be back when the race starts. Whenever that is…
well, now it is raining
why would they do all of the opening ceremonies BEFORE they put the cars on the grid?
I’m going to open this by saying I hope I never see Kurt Busch’s silver sunglasses again.
And that Clint Bowyer commercial.
