Watching the Indy 500 today?
Nick Bromberg is!
Join him here as he live blogs the race Flag to Flag.
And Justin Wilson hits the wall. Caution #7.
Well, now that Will Power is second, it is maybe a good thing that I am not a bookmaker
well, apparently you can say “balls to the wall” on television
and Helio to the front!
Matos can’t have 5 laps in hand, because they haven’t run 8-9 laps of caution since they pitted.
(and is it me, or are the cautions lasting a loooooooong time this year?)
now who can challenge Dixon? This could be fun…
Fuel spill in Vitor Meira’s pits. Or I assume it was a fuel spill. It looked like a bath.
Caution #6 for Nelson Phillipe
TV report: Good to have ABC doing it. Especially when Cheever is talking and Arute is not.
Townsend Bell with a nice run up to 8th. He needs a full time ride.
what are the odds that a non-Ganassi car wins today? 20-1?
There certainly has been a lot of attrition so far. That’s to be expected with 8-10 cars that don’t run the full schedule, but there’s been a lot of good cars that are out of contention so far.
holy crap. that was a massive equipment failure
Kanaan in the wall like a missile. What the heck happened?
Dixon grabs the lead from Dario on the restart
Davey Hamilton is caution #4
Did Scott Dixon get the lead during commercials?
That’s what I get for looking at French Open scores.
ABC is getting excited that Danica is in fifth
lost all grip?
What happened to Briscoe on that restart?
She needs to get out of the driving line being so far off the pace. She was already lapped, and there’s no need to be in the racing line. Too bad that no one is pointing that out on the broadcast.
And Milka causes that crash too.
Get her off the track.
