Edwards Tops Nationwide Qualifying

Carl Edwards will start Saturday night’s Nationwide Series race from the pole as a result of posting the fastest qualifying run earlier on Saturday.

Edwards did a qualifying lap at 183.175 mph at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

Starting second tonight will be Kyle Busch, who is the series points leader. Busch enters the race 37 points ahead of Edwards.

Third on the starting grid will be Greg Biffle. David Ragan will start fourth, giving Roush Fenway Racing three of the top four starting spots.

Fifth fastest in qualifying was Brian Vickers.
