Story was posted Friday, and Spencer Massey's re-hiring was announced by DSR on Saturday. In retrospect, Brown apparently was tipping the media that Massey's re-hiring was possible, if not imminent. Meanwhile, the facts surrounding Massey's behavior at the season-ending NHRA awards banquet remain what they are. Strange tale, indeed, as Massey has cashed-in one of his nine lives. Just to make this time line clear, Antron Brown’s comments were made during a teleconference last Thursday (Jan. 31).
