Truex On NNS Pole

Ryan Truex won the pole on Saturday morning for Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Dover International Speedway.

Truex, who underwent surgery on his appendix last week, posted a lap at 154.746 mph at the Monster Mile.

Second fastest in qualifying for the 5-Hour Energy 200 was Joey Logano. His lap speed was 154.453 mph. Third was Ty Dillon.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was fourth and Brian Scott fifth.

Rounding out the top 10 were Elliott Sadler, Justin Allgaier, Mike Bliss, Kurt Busch and Sam Hornish Jr.
