Elliott Sadler took the lead by not pitting when a caution came out with 40 laps to go and went on to win Saturday’s Ford EcoBoost 200 NASCAR Nationwide Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The victory was the second of the season for Sadler and his Richard Childress Racing team as they also won at Phoenix International Raceway two weeks ago – in the same car, yet.

Kasey Kahne finished second. Brad Keselowski finished third, pole-winner Joey Logano fourth and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fifth.

Defending series champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. had the lead just before the caution with 40 to go and appeared headed for victory.

But track position did the track for Sadler and did in Stenhouse as he finished sixth.

Rounding out the top 10 were Justin Allgaier, Trevor Bayne, Kevin Harvick and Ryan Truex.

Danica Patrick finished 19th, two laps off the pace.
