Crafton Trucks to Pole At MIS

BROOKLYN, Mich. – Matt Crafton won the pole Saturday morning for Saturday afternoon’s Camping World Truck Series race at Michigan International Speedway.

He nabbed the pole, his first of the season and fifth of his career, with a lap at 177.489 mph.

Second fastest in qualifying was Todd Bodine with a lap at 177.288 mph. The effort gave Bodine, who is the defending series champion, his first front-row start of the season.

Third fastest was Ron Hornaday Jr.

Fourth was Mark Martin and fifth was Parker Kligerman.

Rounding out the top 10 were Kevin Harvick, Ricky Carmichael, Nelson Piquet Jr., Miguel Paludo and points leader Austin Dillon.
