Sadler Claims NNS Pole

Elliott Sadler will start Friday night’s Feed the Children 300 Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway from the pole after he posted the fastest lap in qualifying for the event on Friday afternoon.

His fast lap around the 1.5-mile oval was at 173.734 mph. The pole was his second of the year.

Carl Edwards was second fastest at 173.678 mph.

Rickey Stenhouse Jr. was third.

Joey Logano, who won last weekend’s race at Daytona, was fourth.

Brad Keselowski was fifth.

Rounding out the top 10 were Kevin Harvick, Brian Scott, Justin Allgaier, Steve Wallace and Trevor Bayne.

Kyle Busch wrecked on his qualifying attempt and will start from the rear of the field.
