Hey Larry Good to see your still around. Mark should have hung it up when he had a chance. I do think he still can make the chase with 21 great races..I see some people here think that your way off about whats happening to MM, but the truth is “that racing” good or bad…

WOW…I agree with Lee. You have no clue what your talking about. For a man who claims to have covered racing for 40 years..you are not very knowledgeable. Just as Lee said, first time I read your column, and now the last. Maybe it’s you who should walk away, and not Mark Martin.

Do you even watch the races? What are you talking about? I think your article is way off base. Mark has already earned 3 front-row starting positions in 5 races. He has been fast every week, and would be in the top 5 in points were it not for 2 engine failures and a blown tire. You don’t even mention that *ANYWHERE* in your article. This article implies that Mark has been running slow in the back of the pack like DW or Petty did in their late stages. That comparison is so irrelevant here, it’s mind-blowing you would put it in. I do not understand why you are skewing the article to trash Mark like this? This is the first article I’ve read of yours, and honestly it will be the last.

Truthfully, Mark doesn’t need a miracle. He’s only 150 points out of 12th, and once he starts clicking top 10s each week, he’ll back in chase contention shortly. This website I found explains at all. Maybe you can read it and learn something, and stop writing such uninformed articles.
