TMS Announces Individual Tickets On Sale
Fort Worth, Texas – Individual tickets for two historic races at Texas Motor Speedway in 2011 – April’s Samsung Mobile 500 and June’s Firestone Twin 275s – are now on sale.
NASCAR’s Samsung Mobile 500, scheduled for Saturday, April 9, will be the first nighttime Sprint Cup Series race in the history of TMS and first of the season. Prime seating is available beginning at $112, along with specials for the budget-conscious fan beginning at $20. Three fan-friendly deals for the Samsung Mobile 500 are available – “Backstretch Buster” seats at $20 and $40; “2 for $99” frontstretch tickets and the “Family 4-Pack” of four backstretch tickets, four hot dogs and four Cokes for $159.
The Samsung Mobile 500 will be a NASCAR doubleheader weekend also featuring the first nighttime Nationwide Series race at TMS, the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 on Friday, April 8. Tickets for the event start at $25.
Under terms of TMS’ first-time “No Limits” policy for fans, individual ticket-holders can purchase Sprint Cup weekend pit passes. The passes allow a behind-the-scenes look as drivers and teams prepare for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 and Samsung Mobile 500. Weekend pit passes are available for $125 and must be accompanied by a race ticket.
The inaugural Firestone Twin 275s IZOD IndyCar Series race on Saturday night, June 11, also will offer a unique twist. In lieu of the traditional 550-kilometer race, the event will feature two separate points-paying ,275-kilometer sprints with full fields. The format will be a first in the history of the IndyCar Series. Fans will get to enjoy two races for the price of one from frontstretch tickets beginning at $31.
The IndyCar Series weekend also features the WinStar World Casino 400k NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday night, June 10. Individual tickets start at $19.
Camping spots for the Samsung Mobile 500 and Firestone Twin 275s weekends also are on sale. Weekend camping in the Lone Star Circle for April’s NASCAR doubleheader is $275, while Victory Circle and Family Campground spots are $200. IndyCar Series/NASCAR Camping World Truck Series weekend camping in the Lone Star Circle is $150, and $75 for Victory Circle and Family Campground.
Season-ticket packages are still available for all 10 days of racing at TMS in 2011. TMS is offering incentives to season-ticket holders, including 50 percent off pit passes, discounts on concession stand items and a pass to the “No Limits” Garage Party _ an exclusive pre-race celebration for PSL and season-ticket-holders only prior to the Sprint Cup races in April and November. Season-ticket packages, which begin at $270, carry a savings of 10 to 16 percent (depending on seating selection) from 2010 pricing.
