Honda GP Tickets On Sale

St. Petersburg, Fla. – Reserved three-day and general admission tickets for the 2011 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series season-opener, are on sale.

Now in its seventh year, the event returns to the streets of downtown St. Petersburg from March 25-27. Will Power of Team Penske is the defending IndyCar event champion on the 1.8-mile, 14-turn waterfront circuit.

Tickets range in price from $25 to $110. Single-day general admission passes start at $25, while a general admission ticket for Sunday’s featured races is $40. Three-day general admission passes can be purchased for $45.

Reserved seats for Sunday range from $60 to $80, while three-day reserved seat passes start at $85. Paddock passes also are available starting at $30 for an adult single-day pass.

Reduced rate tickets are offered to juniors, ages 12-and-under, in certain ticket categories. Sunday-only reserved tickets will go on sale on March 1, 2011.

The Firestone Indy Lights Series also will return to St. Pete next March, along with the Star Mazda Championship, USF2000 and the ACURA Sports Car Challenge featuring the SCCA World Challenge Championship. In addition to world-class racing, the weekend will offer Drifting sessions on-track, interactive activities in the Bright House Speed Zone, live music, exhibits, food concessions and beer gardens.

Tickets are available online at www.gpstpete.com or by phone at 877-283-5385. Fans purchasing a three-day reserved ticket before Dec. 31st will receive a free weekend IndyCar Series Paddock Pass, a $55 value.
