Logano On NNS Pole

Joey Logano will start Saturday afternoon’s Ford 300 Nationwide Series from the pole.

Logano won the pole with a qualifying lap at 171.499 mph earlier on Saturday. It was the eighth pole of the season for Logano. He also has two victories.

Kyle Busch, Logano’s Joe Gibbs Racing teammate, was second fastest in qualifying session with a lap at 171.473 mph. Busch will be attempting to win his 13th race of the NNS season.

Brad Keselowski, who clinched the series championship at Texas two weeks ago, was third fastest.

He was followed by Aric Almirola and Danica Patrick.

Rounding out the top 10 were Martin Truex Jr., Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Trevor Bayne and Cole Whitt.
