Carl Edwards made it two Nationwide Series victories in a row Saturday afternoon when he won the Wypall 200 at Phoenix International Raceway.

Edwards, who won last weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, led a race-best 153 laps.

To get the victory, his fourth of the season, he had to hold off  Kevin Harvick over the final 25 laps. He  did it with ease as the margin of victory was about 5  seconds.

“Two in a row, that’s great,” Edwards said. “That is the best driving race car I have had in the Nationwide series.”

Joey Logano, who had won the pole for the race, finished third.

Brad Keselowski, who clinched the series championship at Texas, finished fourth.

Edwards, who will start Sunday’s Sprint Cup race from the pole, said, “The last couple of weeks in NASCAR has been real exciting. I just want to be part of it.”
