Logano To Start From Pole In NNS

Joey Logano captured the pole for Saturday afternoon’s Nationwide Series race at Phoenix International Raceway. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver set a new track record with his run.

Carl Edwards of Roush Fenway Racing will start the race second.

Third was Justin Allgaier in a Penske Racing Dodge.

Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch were fourth and fifth respectively.

The Nationwide series championship was secured by Brad Keselowski lat weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

Logano got the pole with a lap in 26.856 seconds and at 134.048 mph. It is his 14th pole in 65 NASCAR Nationwide Series races

It is his seventh pole and 22nd top-10 start in 2010. This is his first pole in four races at Phoenix International Raceway.
