Carl Edwards was the fastest qualifier in the Nationwide Series Friday afternoon and will start Friday night’s race from the pole.
Edwards is the series points leader.
Qualifying second fastest was Joey Logano, the winner of last weekend’s Nationwide race in Nashville.
Logano was followed by Paul Menard and Greg Biffle.
Kyle Busch, who is second in points, was fifth fastest in qualifying.
