Graham Rahal will be back in an IndyCar for the races at St. Petersburg, Fla. and Birmingham, Ala. He will drive a car in those events for Sarah Fisher Racing.

Rahal will drive the No. 67 car and will be sponosred by Dollar General.

“We are all very enthusiastic about having Graham in the seat for the two road course races that start off our season,” said Fisher, whose 2010 IZOD IndyCar ® Series schedule includes all the domestic oval races. “He has incredible talent. When it was brought to my attention that he was available, I reached out to Dollar General who was in full support of our decision to give Graham the opportunity.”

Rahal will return to the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 28, where his historic first win came in 2008. As the youngest winner in IndyCar history, Rahal will bring talented experience on road courses to the seat.

“Sarah has clearly done an impressive job building Sarah Fisher Racing and I really thank her, the team, and Dollar General for this opportunity to compete in St. Pete and at Barber Motorsports Park,” said Rahal. “I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the Dollar General No. 67 car and hopefully contribute to the success of SFR.”

In the first appearance of the Dollar General IndyCar without driver Sarah Fisher at the helm, Dollar General’s support of SFR remains strong.

“Dollar General would like to welcome Graham to our racing family,” said Rick Dreiling, Dollar General’s chairman and CEO. “We look forward to supporting him and cheering him on in the Dollar General No. 67 Honda.”

The IZOD IndyCar Series kicks off its 2010 schedule on March 14 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The race will be shown live in High Definition (HD) on the VERSUS (VS) Network at noon (EST). Additional coverage will be available on the IMS Radio Network and XM Satellite Radio’s “IndyCar Racing” channel 145, with a broadcast coverage summary available at www.indycar.com.
