Keselowski On Nationwide Pole
Brad Keselowski broke the track record Saturday en route to earning the pole for the Nationwide Series event at Las Vegas International Speedway.
Keselowski posted a lap at 185.427 mph in the morning qualifier for the afternoon Sam’s Town 300 race.
The previous record for qualifying was 182.451 mph and was set a year ago by Scott Speed.
Starting second will be Harvick while Carl Edwards will be third.
Two more Sprint Cup regulars, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch, both of Joe Gibbs Racing, qualified fourth and fifth respectively.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was fastest of the series regulars as he qualified seventh.
Danica Patrick, making her final Nationwide start before moving over to the Indy Racing League until the summer, was 37th.No Comment
