Joey Logano pulled away from the field on a restart with five laps to go and went on to win the Nationwide Series race at Nashville Superspeedway Saturday afternoon.

The victory was the first of the season for Logano.

Behind Logano, to give Joe Gibbs Racing a 1-2 finish, was Kyle Busch.

Both Gibbs drivers led large portions of the race – Logano led 95, Busch 77.

Brad Keselowski finished third and Kelly Bires was fourth.

Carl Edwards, the series points leader, finished fifth. He started from the pole and led 45 laps.

Edwards’ lead was chopped down to 23 points over Busch as a result of the race.

Logano moved from 12th to sixth in points despite having only started five of the six races this season.
