Edwards Wins Pole In Nashville

Carl Edwards turned the fastest lap in qualifying at Nashville Superspeedway Saturday morning and will start the afternoon race from the pole.

Edwards circled that track in 29.155 seconds on his top lap. The pole was his first at Nashville.

Joey Logano was second fastest and will start on the outside of the front row. 

Michael McDowell was third fastest and Kyle Busch fourth.

Edwards, who was also fastest in practice Saturday morning, is the series points leader. He leads Busch by 38 points.

The race is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
