White On Pole For Truck Race

Jason White on Thursday won the pole for Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

The pole was the first for White, who ripped off a lap at 177.525 mph.

Elliott Sadler, driving for Kevin Harvick Racing, was second fastest in the qualifying session while Austin Dillon was third.

Ricky Carmichael was fourth. He was followed by defending series champion, Ron Hornaday Jr.

Kyle Busch, participating in his first series race as an owner/driver, was 16th.
