Baytown, Texas – Fans planning to attend the 23rd annual O’Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals at Houston Raceway Park in April are being offered a convenient purchasing option.

The newly announced 50/50 Payment Plan option allows consumers to buy tickets for the event, which runs from April 9-11, right now while deferring half the cost until March. Fans buying tickets at HoustonRaceway.com need to select “Payment Plan” at checkout to activate the offer. Upon approval, tickets will be emailed within minutes to print directly from a home or office computer.

“We’re listening to the various needs of our loyal customers and this is something that has come up time and again,” said Seth Angel, general manager at HRP. “We recognize how careful people need to be with their entertainment dollar and we believe the 50/50 Payment Plan offers yet another way that we can help out.”

No matter how many tickets are purchased under the 50/50 Payment Plan, customers will only need to pay for half of the costs up-front, with the remaining balance automatically debited next month.

“It’s a small payment plan, if you will, that will help buyers spread out the expense of coming to the race,” Angel said. “By doing this online, fans can pick the exact seats they want rather than have a computer select what it thinks is the best available option. And since the tickets are sent out via email to the purchaser’s home or office computer, they can print them off and avoid standing in long lines when they get to the racetrack.”

Houston Raceway Park offers an array of ticketing options from single-day tickets starting as low as $35 to weekend packages in the Darrell Russell Top Eliminator Club and RV campsites.

The Darrell Russell Top Eliminator Club is the ultimate venue to experience NHRA Championship Drag Racing. Amenities include prime starting line reserved seating, access to the members-only TEC Hospitality Center, daily complimentary refreshments, complimentary catered meals on Saturday and Sunday, and a special gift bag. TEC guests also enjoy special meet-and-greet appearances by many of the top stars in the sport in a limited capacity setting.

In recent years HRP management has extended the asphalt in the pits, resurfaced the racetrack, expanded parking lots, refurbished the suites, changed position of the lights, improved on-track lighting and in public areas, and built a dedicated Top Eliminator Club. New, state-of-the-art highway access has made entering and exiting the facility easier.
