The reason why Bill France Jr. should be held back from the Hall of Fame is because he put his idiot son in charge of NASCAR.

Also, the NASCAR Hall of Fame belongs in the place Bill France Jr’s father founded NASCAR: Daytona Beach, FL.

Neither France should be “inducted” into the Hall of Fame. They are founders and owners and reap enormous financial benefits from their role in the sanctioning body, and will reap enormous financial benefits from the Hall of Fame itself. Should both Bill France, Sr. and Bill France, Jr. have prominent exhibits and places of honor in the Hall? Absolutely. But “inducted”? I don’t think so.
